Bounce! So glad my search engine came up with TDR.

I am new at this business of finding parts for a Dodge 3500, 01, AT, 24K miles. I will be intimate with this Cummins powered Dodge pickup long before I put the first mile on it. Alaska Jack said, he could put a builder back together with the funds we have, so I went out and bought a salvaged Quad cab from a salvage yard here in Yuma, AZ.

Money often makes decisions for us and the reasoning may be faulty but it's like wanting to get married. Remember when you wanted to do it now, not five years down the road?



While the front-end is off this truck are there specific, should do, really need to do or general changes/add-on that are highly recommended?

If all the stuff is out of the way in the front of the engine- bumper, radiater, intercooler, condensor, I'd slap a wobble stick in it.



Diesel Dynamics, Piers, Enterprise all offer one. I like the DD one, but it is more expensive.



When you add enough fueling to need a larger turbo, you'll be extrememly happy you have a "faster air" camshaft.



I have yet to hear of ANYBODY who isn't happy with a camshaft or auto-transmission upgrade.

Do you know a spot that I can download a manual for the 2001, 3500 ?

Wobble stick, bump-stick, = camshaft.



Factory service manual is available on CD I think. I get the paperback versions. They cover every permutation of the "Ram Truck 1500-3500" for a given year. They're about 2. 5 inches thick. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.



The number is: 800 890 4038. Cost around $100.

BEST 100 EVER spent ... . Bar None! I have my sled on CD and The ram version as well. I find the Books to be better. I keep em in the toolbox of the truck (If I need em on the road ... . I got em) The CD is nice but... ... .
