Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rebuilding Nv 5600

I need to replace the sychronizer in my NV 5600, and would like to up grade the trans. Can anyone recommend where to purchase the parts?

dave Goerand from Saint Lucas, Iowa. Look it up on a search and you will find many good things about his transmission. I had mine done there and wish I would have taken it there when I took it off the lot brand new. Boy, what a difference he made!

Blumenthauls in Oklahoma is a great place to purchase NV5600 parts and upgrades. They advertise in the TDR magazine. If you are considering doing the overhaul yourself... ... ... ..... please be advised the 6speed is difficult to assemble without several special tools. I just finished replacing a twisted off main or output shaft and the reverse synchro in mine. Larry

You said difficult, but not impossible? A guy could make some of the tools/jigs in an average shop and "get buy" with out others? The reason I ask is I have assembled transmissions with out any of the tools that the manufacturer offers, you just need some creativity and jerry rigging some times.
