Got home late Sat. had rebuilt pump from T&C in our big country mailbox. Anxious to inspect our latest investment, I was impressed . With family coming out today I hadn`t planned on diving in to switching out an injection pump on a Sunday. My neighbor rolled in ,I had just swept the shop ,and 5 hours later I turned on the heater grids and cranked the big six up with our new pump installed. With the tools T&C sent we were able to complete the job . Instructions didn`t mention removing wiring harness holder next to pump(to the right) ,but is wasn`t an issue. Neighbor assured me all the extra clatter up on top was (air, trapped air) but it got tense for a few minutes. Then he romped up RPM`s with linkage and it DIED. I jumped in and spun it over ,it fired and was nice and quiet so it must have been air trapped. No gimmicks ,no hitch, and glad I found T&C as a result of joining TDR. My neighbor digging in from the top and me under truck it wasn`t a huge challenge. Without my neighbor, it would have been a task for the first pump change. At 359 K it was ready for a "fresh pump" . Next will be Smarty JR.
