Anyone tried this fella on ebay selling rebuilt injection pumps on Ebay??? His store name is Diesel care & performance inc. Price seems too good to be true to me... .

Off the subject a little, but I once saw a sweet looking Scheid Diesel reman on Case500D's truck and I was drooling... I sure was jealous!

I have seen them. $695 Buy it Now. "Rebuilt to factory specs. " That was enough for me... ... Factory Specs mean low power. That can be remedied, but you lose warranty...

For what it's worth. Some things you just don't want to buy on Ebay. If you are buying a product that is made by a very reputable company then you should be OK. But we have seen that there are pirates on Ebay willing to sell you a pump that is wash and waxed and therfore looks like what is advertised. Problem is it may not work and even if it does it may only last for a short time. We have people bring their prized catch they bought on Ebay in to us to get it fixed. We just shake our head and wonder how they get away with such crap! Thanks

I bought from that Co. what was supposed to be a 215 P-Pump, and not to tear any company apart, well, lets just say I returned it.

BTW the pump I recieved looked NOTHING like the one in the picture, but thats not the reason for returning it.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is...

I have no experience with IP's, but rebuilds are never all the same. You usually do get exactly what you pay for with a rebuilt anything.



I learned that the hard way by getting a Chevy 700R4 rebuilt for cheap. ... . :-{}... . #@$%!

FWIW, I had Industrial Injection rebuild a 1st gen pump a month or so ago. It was right at the same money as the eBay pumps. Dealt with Clint on that deal (thanks Clint ) They even turned it up a little during the build , and sent back all the old parts. Truck runs great. They were short on cores so i had to send ours in for the build, but the whole process was still pretty quick, less than two weeks out and back. I bet the eBay seller is not a phone call away for tech support either
