Rec Nav Info Question

For those of you who have the DVD based Rec Nav in your truck... I've got a question (actually, this is for anyone who knows the answer whether or not you have this radio ) I have an '06 with the nav, and when it's on SAT radio, it displays the info without having to push the info button. My '05 Magnum with this radio doesn't display it all the time. You have to push the info button, and it will display it for 5 seconds. Then, it just shows the clock digits in big font. Is there a way to get it to display the info all the time, or is this something they added for the new vehicles? Is there a reflash?

Sounds stupid, but change the clock display to small and it will display info all the time.

That might work on the Raq radio, but not on the nav radio. If it does, could you tell me how?

In the nav menu you can change the size of the clock. I can't believe I didn't see that before. I was looking thru all the settings, and between the steering wheel controls and what you can do on the radio itself, you could spend half a day just personalizing all the settings. It is a PITA if the battery ever gets disconnected!
