Recall…WINDSHIELD WIPERS?!?!

Got a recall notice and made an appointment for Saturday.

For the freaking windshield wipers?!?!?!

Ok, you can fix my wipers, but my High pressure fuel pump is still a ticking time bomb and there is still no solution!?!?!

Replace the damned CP4 for the CP3 and be done with this already!

Aftermarket already has the fix!

You actually have this option now. Get a S&S CP3 conversion kit and ask Stellantis, formerly FCA, to reimburse you. They have done so for others who did just this.

GM and Ford both would have told you, like they did everyone else, to "Go Pound Sand!" over their use of the cheap CP4. The fact RAM is recalling 100% of the Cummins CP4 pumps should be a plus. Yeah, shouldn't have drank the CP4 Kool-aid in the first place, but, they have a plan to fix it rather than extended warranty then "Go Pound Sand" out of Your Wallet because we went CHEAP.

No disagreement with the heartburn of dragging the recalls out. That IS taking the shine off doing the right thing. Something that really could set them apart from the SSDD bad attitude other automakers have now.

If you do the install yourself don't forget to charge labor. I friend of mine did his and after submitting the bill he had a call wanting to know why it was so cheap.

On the wipers, isn't it just low torque on the mounting bolt? Just tighten it up and forgetaboutit..

My 2013 had a tail gate latch recall. I'd installed a flat bed, so the recall was never cleared.
