Quadzilla Towing Module report

Just got my 03 SO back from the dealer where he fixed a couple of minor things for me. When they did this work they also did a recall which I did not know was even needed. The paperwork calls for a safty recall #828 plus some numbers B28. They also referenced a 08C02182 number.

They say it is a safty recall but it also says something about a CO2 reprogram.

Anyone ever heard of this recall. I did not get any notice of one and it looks like my mileage has gone down about 20%.

Comments.

Thanks for the feedback, I had heard about the fan problem but not anything about a co2 recall. What ever they did to the truck has killed my mileage. Went from about 20 around town to less than 15, on the same tank of fuel. Kind of upsetting me given the price of fuel. Getting fuel this weekend I will see if maybe that is the problem. The filters are all new so I know they are not the problem.

Anyone know the Dodge number were you can call to see what should be done to your truck using the VIN number. I do not trust dealers here in Phoenix so I want to see if there really was something that needed done on my truck. It has run like a top since I bought it and one trip to the dealer for a simple thing and now problems.

Thanks

The mileage will come back up just be patient. Mine was off at first now I am getting 19. 2 MPG 70%hwy and 20%city and 10% bumper to bumper traffic not bad for a one ton with 1200 lbs of cargo. Just pretend that you are breaking it in again the computers are very adaptive to your style. Try to tow with it soon that will help also. The TSB had to do with Cruise Control and Manual trannis.
