Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I came across the following in the "Recall of the Week" section of my local paper:
Mfg. Recall 955, NHTSA 0V307000
"The upper control arms on the 2001 Dodge Ram Quad Cab pickups are attached with cadmium coated nuts. Some of these nuts were over-tightened, which may have cuased the bolts to stretch. Ultimately, they may break. Contact your dealer or Daimler-Chrysler directly at (800) 992-1997 to see if your Ram is subject to [this recall]. Dealers will replace the upper control arm bolts and nuts. "
Called DC and found that mine is not part of the recall. They were reluctant to say anything other than my particular VIN is not part of it.
