Recall

Just wanted to let all of you know about the recall I got in the mail today. If you did not get this just keep a eye on the engine temp. It is for the cooling fan assembly on 03 rams. It may loosen and separate from the pulley, causing the engine to overheat. I have not had a problum yet, but I am going to let them look at it. Mike 03 3500 Dually 4x4, H. O. Cummins 6 speed.

The fan hub nut recall has been out for a couple of months now. Only a few of the trucks early in production were affected. Mine was one of them but no problem was found. Interesting that you were just notified or maybe someone took another siesta at the plant.

I just got my recall yesterday. Maybe there were more units involved than first thought. Mine checked out OK.

When I took mine to them to disarm the door locks(procedure they had in owners book would not do it) it showed on there computer that it had the recall. I had not received anything from them yet. They checked it but it was not loose.
