Recalls n do they apply to used Rams.

To any and all that might be able to answer this qestion. Do recalls from factory(such as the throttle linkage), apply to owners of used Rams? I've have my Ram now for approx 4 months and just became aware of 7-8 recalls that may apply to my 1995 Ram. Also if the factory does allow me to have recalls done, will they pick up the tab/s, due to the fact its their recall? Much thnx to all that reply. Marc

Marc, even if you were the tenth owner of the truck DC has to pick up the tab on all recalls. When you go to the dealer they can tell you what recalls are needed and which have been performed on your truck. They will also add your name and address to their computer so that you receive recall notices in the mail as they occur.

Not only will they fix used ones. For those who took money out of your wallet to fix it start looking for your receipt because you should be able to get refund.
