( Recalls On 03)

Got two letters from Dodge today, One recall is on the Transmission Cooler line. the other is on the PCM ... Everything has been doing ok on my unit, have 5K miles on it, Hate to let a dealer fool with it. . Anybody had this done yet, if so how did you come out? If they replace the PCM adapter do they have to reflash the system? TKS

Had both done yesterday.



On the PCM deal, they inspect teh connector first and if it's not corroded they just install a new seal on the connector. If it's corroded, then they install a new PCM and trans harness.

Had mine done yesterday also and no corrosion found, installed new seal and replaced cooler line. No problem getting it done they had parts and even came to pick me up when it was finished.

Recalls

Received mine yesterday and put my name on the waiting list as the parts are not in stock yet.

It is running fine and have had no problems.

QUESTION

if they put a new seal on the plug, is this going hurt the warranty if we break the seal to look at codes or what ever???put a Chip on???

Wrong kind of "seal".



They're talking about an O-ring seal to keep moisture out of a connector to prevent corrosion.
