I got a pair of brand new military LED head lights, Being military they are 24v instead of 12v. What would be the safest route as to not damage or disrupt any of the thousands of electronic circuits and computers in my truck. They do not draw much power... Low beam is 0. 60 amps and high beam is 1. 60 amps. I installed a pair of military LED turn indicators in the rear but they work on 12 to 28v DC.

I got a rotating beacon off eBay that was a 24v. Nobody else bid on it so I got this brand new beacon for about 13 bucks shipped. I figured I would have to replace the motor, or do some kind of modification to make it work. As I started to take it apart, I saw resistor wired to the clearly marked 12 volt motor. :-laf

It's worth a look. Hopefully yours is that simple.
