Recomended tire pressure for 315's on 8" rim...

What are you guys running for pressure with 315/75/16 on an 8" rim? I know I can go weigh the truck, both front and rear axle look at my max load rating and calculate it out. But I am leaving for Oregon here in a couple of hours and do not have the time, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jason

47psi in the front and 35psi in the rear

Another way to do it if you have access to an infrared thermometer or an electronic thermometer with a probe is to adjust the inflation pressure until you get even temperatures across the entire tread width after driving awhile.



This, of course, addresses optimum pressure for tire wear, not for loading (towing, heavy hauling, etc. )

55 front 42 rear. They wear real even at these pressures.
