recommend and engine...?

I'm looking for suggestions for a diesel engine. Whats out there that is light weight, say 200-400 pounds? I'm just looking for the engine, no transmission. What kind of HP can I look for in this weight area?



I'd prefer to have something that would be easy to BOMB so I could approach 200-230 HP.

sound like a tall order to me. 200 to 400# engine that will produce 2 to 250 hp will have to be a short term useage unit. Multi chargers, intercooling maybe nitros or alky. Good luck.
