Has anybody added a backup sensor system to their truck? If so, please answer these questions: what make did you get? where did you buy it from? how much did it cost? how difficult was the installation? do you like it, or would you buy another type instead?

Thanks!

On the back of the back seat. I placed it there so when I turn around to look where I am going I can compare my vision to that of the sensor. I placed a piece of velcro on the adjustable arm that comes down off of it. The sensor sits just above the rear seat dead center of the window.

Here is the one from Gino's

One question is I assume you mount it in the center of the bumper, but does it "see" far enough to the sides to tell you if your RR corner is backing into a pole?

How long can the wires be? I backed into something I could not see (a dodge mini van ;) ) with my 5th wheel in Disneyworld (cost insurance Co $987. 00), can I put one on the back of my camper and run the wire upto a sensor inside my truck?

anybody tried these

TowPro,

I found that very make as well, and am also interested in how they work. If anybody's used this make, let us know how well they work and what your experience has been with it.
