Bigfoot 21 and 25ft travel trailers??

Tow rating on a 96 -vs- 2000 + models

I ended up getting the B & W setup. Yes, it is more expensive than others, but I don't want to end up getting a gooseneck put in later down the road when I could get it put in now.

Do you need to borrow a 4" hole saw?

I went with the B&W too. I also installed a B&W for a friend a couple weeks ago.

It's somewhat easier to install a B&W in a Dodge than a GMC.

I have a Reese "Kwik Slide" hitch, and it works great. If I towed a lot a pullrite would be great, but just towing a few weekends a year, just doesn't quite warrant one for me.

Gentlemen, what is the best 5th wheel hitch to buy for the buck, that requires little demolition of the bed, ease of installation and can be fully removed when not in use.

Guys I know this is bringing up an old post but...

I am in the market for a 5th wheel. I am prepared to spend about 1000 bucks.

I have heard good things about Pullrite but I am reading about lateral pivot being a "feature" but it is my understanding that this is sort of inconsistent with the idea of a 5th wheel hitch... I will be on the road 100% of the time.

Any thoughts?

BTW Looking for a 25,000# rated hitch.

I'm on the road all day bout everyday. I couldn't afford an air ride truck, next best thing far as I'm concerned is my EasyRider Air Ride Hitch. Now with a 105 gal of fuel & a V-notch tool box in the bed I ain'ta gonna get much else in there. I'm talking comfort and function for full time haulin. If you want pretty or multi use then you make trade offs. At any rate get a biaxial pivot. JMHO

Cheers,
