On my '03 Dodge, with an auxillary fuel tank in the bed, I built a fuel delivery pump & valve system that has worked well, up until recently. Now when I drive it or have the engine running, fuel is dumping out near the main filling hose. I live in Phoenix, AZ. and park the truck outside and the side of the truck that the filling hose is on faces west and is really hot during the summer months. I'm thinking that the tubing I installed on that side of the truck has dried-up and cracked.
Does anyone make a tubing that will live in the extreme temps. of where I live? I'm wondering if something silicone based would work if they even make something like that.
Any thoughts would help a lot. I'm getting older and this will probably be the last time I can get under the truck to replace all that hosing. I don't want to do it again. Probably won't be able to. Thanks for your advice.
