I just put a set of Toyo 37s on my truck, and I'm looking for a recommended PSI for the tires. I'm looking for a good PSI for good comfort, even wear, and running unloaded.
on my 35's irun 40psi up front and 30psi rear. my tires have over 25k on them and still got 50-60% left. they may not go any farther cause of smarty, but they are wearing flat with no cupping. they ride much better than my friend toyo's but he runs 55psi at both ends, and his are cupping.
I am running 60 in front and 40 in the rear in my 35's. I have only had them on for about 2,500 miles so I don't know how they will wear. Maybe I should try less to get a better ride.
It may come from an odd site, but read this article regarding correct tire pressure. Setting your air pressure consistent with the manufacturers suggested static load radius.
I run 35s in the high 30's in the front and 35 or less(empty) in the rear. More for comfort than tire wear. The Toyo MT has a very stout sidewall. The AT has considerably more flex. I would obviously run less in the MT than the AT.
