I think I'm at my wits end trying to troubleshoot my problems. I have three things I need fixed before I sell my truck.

1. 4WD won't engage (drive shaft turns, but can't get vacuum to engage vacuum motor on axle, even after replacing transfer case switch and verifying no vacuum leak)
2. A/C not working (worked for a little while after I recharged it last summer)
3. Cruise Control not working (bad servo maybe?)

I am looking for recommendations on a shop that won't break my bank and has the expertise on Dodges to figure out these problems. I had ATS Diesel do my South Bend clutch a few years ago, but I don't think they would be good for the above stuff as none of it is performance related.

In the past, I have done most of the work myself, but I don't have the time or the patience to deal with these problems.

Anybody have good/bad feedback on Excel Diesel, Performance Wise, County Wide, others?

I have no experience with any of those mentioned. Except for Excel and all I know about them is we use their shop on the west end of town (470 and Ken Caryl area) for diesel emissions testing for our box trucks at work. In Castle Rock Douglas County Diesel has done good work for me in the past but I have not used them in a while as I haven't had a need. I used Castle Rock Auto (who is now in the same building as Douglas County Diesel) last summer for my ac. I blew the seal out of the compressor and I just did not have the time to do it myself. I thought their service was great and price fair. I have also used High Plains transmission in Castle Rock for my transfer case (they rebuilt it at 186k and now at 301k it is still going) I have also used them for quirky front axle engagement issues as well. I also use Brad (Brad is or at least has been a dodge truck guy himself) at High plains for our work vehicle transmission work. He has always stood behind his work and found his pricing fair.

I have also used Max torque diesel (43rd and I-70 up south of Golden)and thought Rob did a good job he has done several things for me and was happy with the work. It is just a long ways from Castle Rock and if I have to leave the vehicle it is painful getting a ride to and from there
