I'm going to bump my timing next weekend. I've read a bunch of threads and 15-15. 5* seems to be where most folks recommend setting a 215 pump to. My truck is a daily driver and I almost never tow - everything is stock right now. I'm going to do a #10 plate and maybe a 3k GSK in the next few weeks. I don't want to advance much cause I don't want to give up low end.

Also, any recommendations for high altitude driving? I spend most of my time between 6k and 9k feet.

Thanks,

-john

Anywhere between 15*-16* is optimum timing. Also, if your OEM timing has slipped you will gain some milage. Personally I recommend 16* for best MPG and overall performance (not that you'll notice much difference).
