I recently purchased and installed the Recon clear cab lights, really like the look and was getting tired of the leaking stock lights! Well I had one of the Recons start taking water and after taking it off and checking it closely, the rear part of the lense was not fully glued to the base. I reglued it and haven't seen any water since. Anyone else run into this problem?

I had three of the five stock lights taking water in, they were cracked, I will be taking them over to the dealer and see if they will replace them, I'll keep them for my work truck just in case!!!!

a friend of mine has had the same problem. His were/are leaking, and now his overhead console dont work... I just ordered the smoke clear lights for Black Betty, so I will get some pics up on here when they are installed... cant wait!

Silicone under the lenses is the cure ... . and also ditch the factory screws they will completely rust up in about 30 seconds ..... I still need to put the stainless in mine

They dont leak into the interiors the lens leaks into the base ... ... no water has entered the cab's

They just look abit foggy when it warms up after a rain ... the bulbs dont blow somehow

AHHHHH... LEAKY RECON LIGHTS. Pull the screws,go to stainless WITH SMALL RUBBER "O" RINGS. Let truck sit in sun with screws OUT of leaky / foggy lights they WILL dry. Reinstall rest of stainless screws. NOTE: BE SURE TO HOOK GROUND WIRES TO SCREWS #@$%!
