Recon lights

I have heard a few say that the Recon cab lights leak. Anyone confirm this? I just orderd a set and was curious what I'm in store for.

I don't have the cab lights, but I have the third brake light and don't have any problems. Maybe just to be safe you could lay some clear RTV down underneath? Just a thought.

Yep I gottom and they LEAK. And yours will leak to. GOOD LUCK!!!

I am looking at buying a set of recon cab lights for my 2007. 5 2500. Haven't diside if I am going to go clear or smoked the truck is a black mega cab and it was order with the factory cab lights. Are the bulbs regular or led recon's web page does not Say

If the cab lights are of the same quality as their replacement LED dually fender lights on GM trucks, they will suck tremendously.



I know of at least 3 purchasers of the GM dually fender LED's that have had problems and poor customer service to boot.

I have had the recon cab lights for 18 months now and no leaks. When you mount them put some o-rings under the screw heads. There available from Ace Hardware.

I've had the Recon's throughout the winter and no leaks.
