Engine bay is clean and ready to go. Spent several hours yesterday taking stuff out and moving things around the way they should be. I've got another one of those valve covers somewhere still in the box. It was a long process - took the guys at Air Borne in Mt. Holly about two weeks to get everything done on the Jet Hot coating. The guy I use for powdercoating is awesome - I only spent like $100 on all of the red you see except for the valve cover. If you guys are interested I've got the numbers for these folks. Those compressor housings were trip. Thanks for the compliments guys.

DCI - Drake Coatings 704-289-7200. Tom is the man to speak with. He owns the place and really understands the world of high tech coatings - the man has a degree is chemistry from Furman. He knows his stuff. Jet Coating was done by Air Borne 704-820-9000 - tell the lady at the front desk Gus sent you and she'll know that you're looking to get stuff done for a diesel. Both are great places and people to work with.

It's in a running and really good for that matter. I'm putting the electric fans on today and going to have the new bedliner put in ASAP so I can put the stack in and she'll be ready for some easy driving for a while.

Was That bad boy tested and tuned on an engine dyno so that when it went in it would already be ready for anything? Break it in the way you are going to run it. "Easy driving for a while" Now thats what I call self control :-laf .

It's gonna be hard but I'm pretty sure I can control my foot when I think about how much work it is to replace the head gasket.
