Red flashing light on left side of instrument panel

Last night and tonight on my way home from work I noticed a VERY brief red flashing light on the left side of the dash. It only flashed for a fraction of a second and only one flash. Not enough to even tell what it is. Anyone have theirs do this? What is the light for?

Mine does that too, and I've seen on here where it's acommon occurrence. It's the transmition temperature light. I've got a 6 speed, therefore supposedly don't even have the transmission temperature alarm anyway. It's just a glitch so they say. There are a few other electrical glitches on our trucks, so of which are posted here and also in the last issue of the TDR magazine.

I believe its the Check Gages light. There been quite a few of them doing it. Search on here and you will find out all about it.
