The KORE performance springs are about $120 more and are a better engineered spring.

KORE LEVELING KIT that costs $500 or can you buy the springs separate?

The $500. 00 kit includes front coil springs and 5100 bilstien shocks for the front only. The front coils separately are $300. 00.

The KORE kit should give you about 2. 5" in front. Definitley go Kore over SJ. Kent is one of the nicest guys I've talked to, to boot.

I had Daystar 2. 5" spacers for about a year, and I never really liked them, they did the job though. The ride is greatly improved with the KORE setup, unlike my friends truck w/ the Skyjacker coils, that thing rides like a tank.

Did any of you guys use the mini pack rear setup????? Does it make you loose rear height?

The mini packs add about 2" on a 2nd gen and also improve the ride both empty and loaded without sacrificing load capacity.

Not intended as an attack. I REALLY want to know what height effect at the rear, if any.

Yes I do have the mini packs on my truck, 2" is a guess, I did not measure it before I added the mini packs.

I just measured my truck and the distance from the top of the rim to the fender on the rear is 20 1/4" the same measurement on the front fender is 18 1/4". I'm sure the actual change will depend on your weight and the condition of the existing main rear packs and oem front springs. Also the 3rd gens have a completely different rear leaf spring and I have no experience with them at all.

If I had a stock truck the mini leafs would be one of the first changes I would make, they made a huge improvement and work great with OEM type shocks and even better with the high end King / Fox / Bilstien shocks. If you don't like the added lift just adjust it with a shorter lift block.

Unless you live VERY close to California (ie if your on the East Coast like me) its cheaper to get the D25's from www.summitracing.com



I ordered a set of D25's through OFW and they sent me the wrong springs, they were great about fixing the prob and giving me my money back. Good place to do business, shipping just killed the deal though.

This really helps. Actually, it's just the opposite. I want some lift in the rear, as the fronts will replace 2" Tuff Country spacers, which presently gives me a level truck. By adding the Pace I'm thinking it'll raise the front a little more, and look higher in the front, if the mini doesn't give me some lift over stock. I'm also running Bilstein HD's at this time.

I have the KORE suspension with the rear mini-packs. The stack of leaves in the mini-pack is about 1-1/2 inches thick, and I removed the lower overload leaf from the stock setup (actually took off both overloads, but the upper one didn't affect the ride height). So, overall change in the rear is approximately 1 inch increase in the ride height.



All this is estimated from measurement of the pieces - I don't have a "dead level" parking space to make accurate ride height measurements. I did measure the fender wells before and after several times, but never got repeatable readings from one day to another, after changing the parking position in the driveway.



I really like the ride quality now.
