I am buying a redline off of a guy, and I heard it shuts off all the guages in the dash... is this true... if so can you bypass that... i mean be honest it might see the street for some test runs and with no speedo might make things wierd... and how high of rpms can you run on a dodge without first replacing and valve springs? what kind of numbers are guys running with these things cause they seem pretty wild!

I will be upgrading turbo and prob injecters as well eventually...

I think you are confusing two different things here. Redline is a box sold by Blue Chip Performance. This box allows fueling up to 4000 RPM. BD makes a product called the RAD which will disable your gauges and eliminate torque management.

I know guys that push 4000 rpm with the stock springs, if it is a high mileage engine I wouldn't suggest it without doing some valve spring work.

If you have high miles on the stock springs you might be able to get away with it. I would suggest at least putting new ones on it, or turning the rpm down a little

fill in a little info about your truck but personally dont crank it even with a drag comp or a tst comp you can have problems with worn out springs making a mess of your pistons at 32-3600 rpm! if your lightly modded its not going to do you much good. ported head a bolt on manifold (zz's f*****g awesome piece!) and a good cam. fuel and a charger to lite some big fuel leave it around stock rpms. just my 2 cents!

Gauges will work... . Valves will hit the pistons without upgraded valvesprings. Box works awesome when stacked with an EZ and a good cam. We were able to make almost 850 RWHP using one.
