I emailed Redline for their reccomendations on oils for my truck. Here's the reccomendations fyi:

In your pick up I would recommend the Red Line MTL in the

transmission, the D4ATF in the transfer case and 75W90 in the

differentials.

Red Line Oil

So... Where's the best place to order it off the net? Myoiltown.com has it for $7/quart not including shipping. Summit has it for about a dollar more including shipping. Any other cheaper places?

I don't know about where on the net to get it but I bought MTL and 75W90 locally for $7. 00 to $8. 00 a quart when I changed out mine.

I am running MTL in my transmission and have been very pleased with it.

I got it through a local 4wheel shop. Better price than the ones listed here but not as good as direct from redline. When I contacted redline they gave me a very good price per quart (don't have it written down any more) and it was not contingent upon a large order. I like to support the local guys when i can. Check around because anyone that orders from keystone can get redline and just about every independent guy orders from keystone.

I have bought all my Redline products (and por-15) from Al Smith Automotive Products

Great service, and the prices are about the going rate for RL.

I have the D4 in my trans case, MTL in my transmission. I also tried their 15w-40, which I believe to the best (if not the most expensive-- OUCH). I used mobil 1 for the diffs, but have RL on the shelf waiting for my first diff oil change.

I love REDLINE!!
