PRESS RELEASE 10/15/04

BLUE CHIP DIESEL PERFORMANCE announces the Redline Performance Box outperformed all others tested on dyno tests done in Ohio at the Enterprise Engine sponsored charity event last weekend.

Trevor Wood hired the dyno to test most all of the popular 24 valve power products on the same truck on the same day on the same dyno. The Redline Box made at least 20 more horsepower than any other combination of boxes he could come up with, and more importantly it was the only one that gave FULL fueling all the way to 4000 RPM !!!

The numbers were the highest of the day for 24 valve trucks…. 628 HP actual or 613 corrected !!!

At the drag strip, the same weekend, Trevor uncorked an amazing run, 111 MPH in 12. 06 seconds. If you do the math, that confirms the dyno results. The amazing top speed was achieved thanks to no fuel cutback until 4000 rpm!!!

The same weekend Ray Gullett won two truck pulling divisions with the Redline Box, the street class and the single turbo class!!!

Congratulations to Trevor and Ray for the great performances!

I still am a little skeptical about Rays dyno sheets only being 20 horse power more then with the box on and off.

But from the sounds of it, it lools like it will work.

Hey Chip, I sent you in a blue box 3 wire that had quit working on me, you said I could have a $200. 00 dollar in-store credit. Can I put that towards one of your redlines???

Can anyone post any dyno sheets with the runs that were made.

Besides Ray?????

Chip, the redline only adds fuel and not timing correct?

Is anyone using the redline with a "timing box" (Edge EZ)

Can anyone say what kind of manners the Redline box has other than its wide open performance. Is this something that can be run on the street? What is the power delivery like - smooth. Or is this a competition only type box. I really like the fueling until 4,000 rpm. But if I can't drive it on the street it doesn't help me.
