Redneck in jail - needs anger management

Redneck ended up sitting at police station a few hours after defending our 16 year old daughter from a couple of 20 year old thugs from Oklahoma. They were attempting to molest her and rob both of them in a restaurant parking lot Saturday evening.



Our daughter was (still is) very upset about being roughed up by these thugs. I think that what upset her more was watching her Dad fight. He has always said that gentlemen don't fight but if forced to - fight dirty and hurt 'em! Both thugs were taken to the hospital ER. Several people witnessed the whole thing and still nobody stepped up to help. Several witnesses were critical of my husband in their statements to police AND HE AND OUR DAUGHTER WERE THE INTENDED VICTIMS!!!!!! They said redneck did not fight fair. Give me a break!



No charges against Redneck and thugs are in jail awaiting charges Monday. Police said he may have been a little too aggressive. Been teasing Redneck today about going to anger management classes. He may have finally smiled a little this evening when I teased him again. You guys give him the devil if you think he needs it for not fighting fair!!!

Thanks for the post! You tell that Redneck husband of yours that he done good in my book... I'm quite sure those little hoodlum *******s weren't gonna play fair with your daughter, either. Tell the judge that today's problems stem from a lack of consequence. When I was a kid, I couldn't imagine doing anything naughty... never mind the law, I was in fear for my life from mom and dad... there were consequences for my actions!

Daughter came and got me and was laughing about her and her Mom posting on here.



They make our little adventure sound like fun and that I am VanDam, Segal, Rambo, and all the other tuff guys on TV rolled into one bad package.



I am currently nursing two badly skinned elbows, a swollen eye, small stab wound in back on shoulder blade, more knots and bruises than I can rub, and for good measure I'M SORE ALL OVER!!!!



It seems that Mrs. Redneck has invited you all to have a smart*** go at me now. "Old lady" and "Runt" Redneck may have to start sleeping OUTSIDE!!!

Glad to hear the daughter is OK, that is the main thing, I think Redneck did what needed to be done at that time and thats what counts, your girl may have been molested or raped if Redneck haddnt been there. Waiting for the cops to do justice sometimes takes too much time and more damage is done, now that all are safe let the judicial system work for you, be patient as it works slow... ... ... ... ... ... ... be good. By the way Mini Redneck told some folks at church that I knocked the one guy "colder than ice cream". She doesn't seen to have much trouble finding words.

My son had to take on 5 one time by himself while a couple of his friends decided not to get involved.



Neighbor's 17 year old daughter had three people in three different cars do a 'hit and run' last night intending her bodily harm - all in Springdale, AR about midnight. Other witnesses did get involved and the intendees got away.



Hope everything turns out good in court.

RT, If that's the case, I feel bad for the young thugs. They're at a definate disadvantage with a negative upbringing. But that doesn't give them any excuse to rough up a man and his daughter. You did the right thing. I hope you got a few extra in on them. If they need therapy... well they just got some.

When I was 18, I wound up in the hospital after leaving a bowling ally with a gal's phone number. I was attacked by eleven thugs in the parking lot. One of them could have beat the crap of me and I would have still takin' his ex girlfriend from him. After I laid in bed for two weeks, our first date was with a broken cheek bone, broken thumb, two broken ribs, and one eye that looked like a tomato. While I was laid up, one of them got shot and died and another was cut up pretty bad. Some people went to jail, one to prison and one to the grave. I don't feel sorry for them. Cockroaches are born with a disadvantage too.

Sorry. When a man is defending his child, there is no such thing as being too aggressive. Well, at least not until the assailants have been incapacitated and the fight taken out of them for certain.

Defense of self and defense of family are undeniable, unalienable basic human rights. *Police officers* must be careful to avoid excessive force. Not so citizens.

Might RT have been a *little* overprotective? Perhaps. But if he told the assailants to leave them alone, yet they persisted and were definitely threatening your daughter, he had the right and duty to step up and defend her, as an adult and as her father.

Unfortunately, police suspect the worst in people. It is their job to assume someone is guilty, then collect the evidence to prove it. That is also the reason they must either charge a suspect within 24 hours (or so), or set him free.

I should be glad to shake RT's hand, either at the next event we both attend, or in jail. He done good, he done right. I hope they both heal quickly.

For that matter, I hope the assailants heal rapidly, so they can receive their dose of justice quicly.

"Fighting fair" There's no such thing. Sounds to me like these spineless bastages were trying to ease their yeller conciences. My daddy told me from the time I was a little kid, "Son, there's no such thing as a 'fair fight'. Forget that crap about not being the first one to throw a punch. If you know it's going to come to a fight, there's no sense in waiting around for them to get the first lick in. " I'm glad he took care of business. I worked for 5 years in juvinille corrections and know exactly what these kind of punks are made of Needless to say, I did get a little burned out and had to change vocations

Myself, I approve of your actions RT. A long time ago I was taught that family was the most important thing in this life. You defended yours with all of your being, don't worry the soreness, wounds, and pain it will pass. Your daughter is safe!



Fair fighting is only in the movies not in real life. My Poppa told me years ago (after getting my bu!! whupped by two kids after school) "Don't come whinning to me boy. You know there ain't any rules in war. " So the next day a brick came into existence for a equalizer. . Was it fair? No, but I didn't get whupped again by those guys or anybody who saw that fight. Good job, be thankful and heal well... ...

1 punk in hospital

Police called about 6:45 this A. M. 1 of these guys was taken to hospital with a possible blood clot on the brain. He is in critical condition. They also said that he had tested positive for cocaine. Police found their car overnight along with a stash of stolen goods including several guns stolen in Oklahoma, crack cocaine, and meth.



Police report says that I was possibly too aggressive in my defense of daughter and myself. It also says that I should have possibly just given them what they wanted. Police say and I agree that their first motive was robbery. My daughter was being "handled" when I walked out of restaurant which is why they got a dose of me.



I will talk to my attorney later today. I may have a legal problem because of being "possibly too aggressive" since 1 of these thugs is in the hospital.

I am from Oklahoma, and most of us have nothing in common with the two pieces of excrement you had to deal with. I think you handled the situation quite well, and I wish I was there to help you out.
