Here I am

Redneck in jail - needs anger management

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

How many BTU's are in a cubic foot of gas?

Got real Skunk on the leather, Yea buddy!!!

If this happened in Texas, you could have killed them since it was a robbery.

The thugs got what they deserved. Getting the crap stomped out of you, or killed is the risk they take for being a felon. I dont think you used enough force since they are still alive.

Redneck,

If your going to do something, do it right is what my Pop always said - sounds like you did it right here! Way to go. Glad you didn't get hurt seriously. These days you never know what some dumbass will do, like pull a gun or something.

Fighting fair? You won so what is the question? I hope the boys are nursing sore crotches and have broken noses as well.

Good going!!Oo. Oo.

On Anger Management and Fair Fighting

Good Job RT;

As to Anger management, sounds like you are managing it just fine!

As to a Fighting "Fair"... My uncle gave me a great defination of Fighting Fair... Bring a Knife to a fist fight, bring a Hand Cannon to a knife fight and bring a Shotgun to a gunfight.

I knew there was a reason I always liked my Uncle :D .

Great job, RT. Don't worry - just get this case in front of a jury. I don't believe you'll ever get 12 of your peers to agree that you could possibly use excessive force to protect your family.

Rusty

Another example of "political correctness " taken to the extreme!!

I'm going to have a bumper sticker made up : "SCREW POLITICAL CORRECTNESS " and display it proudly on my truck!!!!

Bob

P. S. Good job!!!!!

I heartily agree. And to add... someone (or some group) would have to KILL me to get through me to my family. NO WAY are they going to just "get what they want", especially if it was having their way with one of my kids. I live in TX too, and I wouldn't hesitate to use whatever force I feel is necessary (including causing blood clots in brains) to protect my family. They can take my truck, my house, anything I own, but don't even think about touching my family.

Take it to court and FIGHT it! Hopefully your family and these punk thugs will get justice as deserved. Proud of you man.

Duane

RT,

Glad to hear you and your daugther are doing well. Tell me, that providing these two survive their injuries, they will never be capable of fathering children.

Funny, you never hear the 'winner' of a fight complaining it wasn't fair... ...

Brian

I think you did the right thing. Excessive force my... well, you know what word I would put there that would get censored. Unfortunately, you can probably count on a civil suit from one of the pieces of excrement that you had to defend yourself and family against. I would like to tell the cop that wrote that report what I think of his choice of words as well. You have a stab wound in your shoulder and you used excessive force. Arrggghhh. OK, I better go calm down. It ticks me off that we will get sued for doing our duty to protect our families. If you need help with court costs let us know, you can bet we'll chip in.

RT, you done just fine. "too aggressive"??? - did they write that in the report? Given that you were outnumbered and they were in the act of committing a violent crime, you would have been legally justified in shooting them dead.

Be interested in hearing the officer's explanation for that comment. These crooks got off easy.

Redneck ended up sitting at police station a few hours after defending our 16 year old daughter from a couple of 20 year old thugs from Oklahoma. They were attempting to molest her and rob both of them in a restaurant parking lot Saturday evening.

Our daughter was (still is) very upset about being roughed up by these thugs. I think that what upset her more was watching her Dad fight. He has always said that gentlemen don't fight but if forced to - fight dirty and hurt 'em! Both thugs were taken to the hospital ER. Several people witnessed the whole thing and still nobody stepped up to help. Several witnesses were critical of my husband in their statements to police AND HE AND OUR DAUGHTER WERE THE INTENDED VICTIMS!!!!!! They said redneck did not fight fair. Give me a break!

No charges against Redneck and thugs are in jail awaiting charges Monday. Police said he may have been a little too aggressive. Been teasing Redneck today about going to anger management classes. He may have finally smiled a little this evening when I teased him again. You guys give him the devil if you think he needs it for not fighting fair!!!

Mrs Redneck

P. S. He hates it when daughter or I post on here. This is only our second time. he he he he he he

Sounds like your hubby did the right thing - who said you have to fight fair - you do what you have to do to save a family member.

Better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6 !

As for the witnesses - they probably hug trees-eat granola and drive Chevies ! Your hubby did the right thing ! You always fight to win -

Oo.

Glad your daughter is well. As Cody stated, keep us posted if you have to hire a good lawyer. I am sure everyone who can will chip in for a Noble cause, you did your part now let us help.

Removed blood clot and report reworded

They operated and removed a blood clot from this guys head this morning and afternoon. It appears that he will be O. K.

One witness complained that among other things, I slammed my truck door on one of these guy's head as he was getting up and that I was as vicious as a rabid animal!! I don't remember doing that but there was blood and hair in the door jam. She was very critical of me. One other witnesses said I went too far but all the rest said that I did what I had to. Don't know if he is the one in hospital.

Police officer was doing his job as best he could based on witness statements. After more investigation yesterday and today, he amended his report and it now states that I took all steps necessary to defend myself and my daughter. My attorney is satisfied that I won't have any real threat of civil litigation in the future. He is a good guy and told me that his services will be at no charge if needed.

These punks are both out on bond from Oklahoma for assault, burglary, and 2 other charges. One has already served hard time at Oklahoma's "Big Mac". The other has been in juvenile trouble since 13 years old.

Where in the he** is the justice system and what were these two doing on the street. Don't get me started!!!!

Too aggressive??? I would have run them over with the truck about two or three times and spun the tires on their heads.

Good show

Here in Kentucky , the way it works is that when In fear of your life you can do what is necessary to defend you and your family . Glad you are OK and wish you luck with any court action criminal or legal . Ron in Louisville KY :D :D :D

RT my hat's off to 'ya. :D

When we meet the first beer's on me.

We have become a nation of sheep, it's good to see that the whole nation('cept for us of course) hasn't lost it nerve and it's mind.

BTW..... should we change your handle to "Redneck Punkstomper" now?:)

So the scum bags on cocaine got a taste of a man high on diesle smoke, testosterone and family values. I hope they learn to never mess with anyone again. I am sorry to hear you had to deal with these low lifes. I hope God oversees a speedy recovery for you and congratulations for a job well done. It's a shame some spineless judge (or their parents)didn't have the guts to work them over years ago. Never mess with a man's wife, kids, dogs, truck, or lawn!

The punk that ended up in hospital woke up yesterday A. M. and was walking around a little today. I've been keeping track on his condition along with Redneck since he was hospitalized. The RT has been very down about this whole thing but is much more upbeat since this guy regained consciousness. We have been giving him a little extra space around the house.

78repowerwagon- I just found out about the message that "Runt Toadstomper"? (my poor daughter) put up about her daddy on Father's Day. Almost didn't find it in archives. She described him to a "T" and it did make a tear or two slip away. Those two are inseparable. "Runt" (I can't hardly bear to call my baby that) left in the morning, ran with, worked next to, and came home at night with her dad all summer. She helped him on farm, at the nursery, and with landscape contracting. She loved it and NEVER missed going. She loves running equipment and runs it better than some employees.

Thank all of you folks for being so supportive. I won't forget all of you messages.
