Redundant Ball Joint Question (And Lukes Link Rod Ends)

I've had a Luke's Link on my trackbar for 23K miles now and it is still as tight as day 1. I've ran through tons of road salt this winter and the only thing it did was make the finish look a little "unfinished". It doesn't hit my front diff cover but that's probably due to the 2" leveling kit. I read somewhere that the Luke's Link was redesigned somewhat when reports of front diff cover contact was reported by some users.

I have 4 Lukes links in hand hopeully to install on my truck in the next couple days.



It does not llok like there is much room between the rotor guard and the tie rods. Has anyone had a problem with that?
