Building a flatbed on SRW. Any pics of yours?

I 40 in Arkansas ?

Any one out there want to comment on their Reese/Hidden Hitch fifth wheel rail install on a 3500.

I was dissapointed to see the new "No Drill" brackets only fit on the 1500 and 2500. Problem I guess is with the over load spring brackets on the 3500 SRW and DRW.

Do the new 3500 brackets they have fit well? Hard to install?

I just installed a PullRite Super 5th and SuperRails on my 04. 5 3500 SRW. Very nice install. No drill other than the four 1 3/4 holes for the mounting posts thru the bed. I havn't gotten pics of my install yet, but I have some info on my website at http://www.klenger.net/dodge/pullrite/index.html

I had a Reese/Drawtite on my 01. 5, but thought I'd like to have a clean bed hitch this time.

Two questions - two different answers: yes and no.

Yes, they fit quite well.

No, they're not hard to install.

Mine have been on for 9 months and two border-to-border pulls and are about to do another.

I thought about the Pullrite slider, but can't get past the cost. I am going to install my old hitch (under$100) and then go with the manual slider (another $200) if I feel it is required.

$300 vs $1600... ... easy decision right now.

Thanks RMcCulloch. Did you use the Part # 58186 Ram 3500 installation kit?

The Super5th I installed is not a slider, but I certainly understand re-using your old hitch parts. I considered re-using my old Reeese/Draw-Tite, but ended up selling it with my old truck for $250. That plus the $150 for the rail and install kit for the 3rd gen paid for 1/2 of the new hitch.

To be more specific I would love to get the Pullrite Super Glide (and might upgrade later on down the road)... . but again in the mean time--economics prevail.
