Reese Slider Hitch?

I have a Reese slider and a non side to side pivot head, only a front to back pivot. Can I buy a new head that will fit on the bottom part of my slider that will have a head that pivots in all directions??? Sorry if this doesn't make any sense but thats the best way for me to describe it, :-laf

Which Reese hitch is it? If it is the Signature series you should be able to, when I recieved mine I had to assemble it, the side plates I believe are all the same or at least the 16k and the 18k are, only the head is different, the 16k is front and back pivot the 18k is both front and back and side to side.
