John M one more reason to get you over the hump. Every time I go to a supermarket or Home Depot with short parking spaces I want to get out and kiss my reg cab long bed dually. Sleonard:p

I am hoping for a regular cab, long bed, 3500 SRW to be available in 04. The extra tires on a DRW makes you instantly "commercial" all the tolls go to something like a car toll per axle. But I will probably end up with a long bed quad cab- or whatever the 4 door cab is called in 04. For me long bed is first. SRW is second. Butt warmer option third( have to get laramie/leather heated seats ) and the bigger cab is not very usefull but the SRW is more important. Actually what is before first? Zeroth?? is Pre- soot recycling and 5% reduction in econonomy and extra maintenance and wear that comes with it.

Tim and Peter

Tim, I'll be darned. I should have known you are "Elk". I was looking for you at the office late this afternoon but you had already left. I'll see you tomorrow morning.

Peter, I believe you are referring to the new emissions control system Cummins is installing on their diesels starting January 1, 2004. I hope you are wrong about them reducing mileage by approx. 5% and requiring more maintenance. I have to believe Cummins can do better than that.

Best Wishes,

The height of my garage door opening is 8'5" so the 4X4 with mid-riser canopy should fit with no trouble.

Thanks for the "heads up" reminder.
