I'm 63 years old and haven't been in a fight since I was in high school. I almost broke that string at the Dodge dealer in Gilroy with their service manager. Our conversation would not have been allowed on prime time TV. #@$%!
Why do people feel so secure as long as their warranty is intact? Dodge isn't where you want your truck worked on in the first place. Save that $1500 extended brainwash and take your truck to Cummins if the engine doesn't que correctly. You'd be surprised how much they know about that dodge engine!!!
Yes, I know the feeling. It would not be the first time that I thought about stopping by at the mushroom farm on the way down there for a load of really good smelling compost.
I like the truck although I have heard that some of the creature comforts after better in the other brands. Please don't flame me here. They are fine for me. A whole lot better than the power nothing of my previous '71. I really like the power plant. There is a lot I can say about having a medium duty engine in a pickup truck.
DODGE SERVICE SUCKS! It would be really nice if DC would listen, take this to heart and fix it. That was one of the reasons why I did my own 60K service. It really saddens for me to say that I have not been able in all fairness to give one good evalution on those service cards. I pride myself as being a pretty fair person and I have mentioned good things when they were done. But overall there has not been one good service.
Come on dealerships almost have a license to print money from the service department. They are not a cost center but a profit center. They just don't realize that if they did things better they would have a lot more repeat business. AND that equates to more profits (not necessarily easier profits but more). I am ranting now, please accept my appology.
