Which is a better product to use as a first application. The Zaino Z-1 Car polish loc or the ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive?

I know the Z-1 is applied before the Z-2 and the ZFX is mixed with the Z-2, which has the ease of use and removal with the highest quality protection and look?

Z5 first. if ur using the accerator u dont need to use the the prep (z1) use the cure addative in all the products Z5 and Z2 to allow multiple coats in a short time or it is recomended to wait 24hr between coats and use Z7 in between coats. . also if you paint in not perfect to start using just the z2 will enhance the flaws!

For best overall results, DO clay the finish first - you will be amazed at the junk you'll pick off the surface - as well as the improved finished appearance...

Like Gary said, Claying the truck first is a MUST.

I personally hated the results when I added ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive to the Zaino polish. It seemed like I got ½ or less of gloss enhancement of just using Zaino alone. I gave the remainder of the additive to a TDR member here.

I've been using Zaino since 2001 and I sell it at my LINE-X shop.

To answer your question, I've done it both ways on two different autos. It's my opinion that Z1 is better than Z2 with ZFX. ZFX has a rather short shelf life and I've had several bottles dry up on me. ZFX is convenient since you can skip Z1 and ZFX speeds up the drying time.

Proper steps:

Wash with Dawn.

Claybar, using Z7 in water as a lubricant

Wash with Dawn

Wash with Z7

Apply either Z1 or Z2 (or Z5) with ZFX

Apply Z6

Apply Z2 or Z5

Apply Z6

Optional: Apply Z8
