Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Relay for fuel shutoff solinoid?

help i pulled the relay assy from the firewall but can"t get the relay out of the housing . looks like some tabs are retaining the relay in the housing. what is the trick to get the relay out. i want to replace or clean it. have boot ordered from larry b's for the solenoid. any help appreciated

The housing is held to the body by a little tab, 1 on each side (4 of them total) slide something like a thick feeler gage into the crack all 4 at the same time and it should come apart. I couldnt figure out how it came apart so cut it in half down 2 sides on the housing only and found the 4 tabs. Electrical tape holds it together and its been over a year so far.
