Thanks, TDR Staff

Truck arrested in Chicago, now I need a steering stabilizer.

Cost of replacing unitized wheel bearings?

I understand that there are some relays to remove for security reasons. Can someone tell me where they are located on the '05?

I won't be driving my truck but maybe twice a week and would like to prevent it from being started. Thanks...

Okay, I prepared a diagram of the fuseblock from my 2003 manual and I circled the starter relay. But just as I was about to attach it to this post it dawned on me that any criminals in the audience would then know precisely which relay must be present for the vehicle to start. Hence, if they encountered a truck they were trying to steal whose starter was doing nothing, they could check the fuseblock, install a relay, and be on their way.

Is that a realistic fear? Should I post the diagram or not?

[Of course, on the other hand when I removed mine the first time I simply looked at the diagram that's provided on the backside of the fuse panel lid. I removed the one that was labeled "STARTER". I assume they removed the label on 2004-up trucks, since no one else seems to know which one is the starter relay. ]

I'm really embarrased about this, but if I had taken the time to look around under the hood, I would have found what I was looking for.

Ryan, thanks for the response...

My computer has been down for a few days- DSL went south!

Yes, there is a diagram for the relays on the inside cover. Thanks again for the help, Ryan...
