Relentless Diesel just finished installing their stage 2 upgrade to my cp3. It will be a week or so before I can dyno(I have been breaking parts and I am waiting on a billet flex plate). I can say the truck truck pulls harder and according to the rail pressure gauge I can use 3 more levels on the tst. My truck was making peak power on level 5 and now it maintains pressure into the level7-8 range. I am hoping this will get me closer to the 800rwhp mark I have been chasing. I will give some updates as soon as the truck gets dynoed.

Level 5 to level 8 should give 52. 5 rwhp. I'm interested in how everything turns out! Sounds like a rocket!

The egt's at the present level will get 1350 or so in a quarter mile, everyday driving they rarely get above 900. To answer the mileage question the twins have been on the truck for about 20,000 miles. I am waiting on a new converter and billet flexplate from dtt and I will be able to get some dyno numbers.

A better CP3, RC thats all you need!

Can you explain a bit in detail on what is being done to the stage 2 over the stage 1 you were running?

Glad to hear you like it, Im curious to see what #'s you will make now, should be really close to 800 if not hopefully over!

i also have a question for you RC, have you ran the quarter mile with your 746hp set-up yet. if so then what were you running, also you said that you are running more consistent rail pressure with the stage 2, what pressure are you running to give you more usable levels? Oo.

Anxious to see your new numbers, like the work you and relentless diesel are putting out, keep up the good work. Hopefully I will be doing some business with relentless in the next month or so.

My truck will be back together in about a week, I would like to wait until I dyno to back up what the scanner says before I spill the beans on what was done. I will tell all as soon as I have a number. As far as quarter mile times my last pass was in November ,I had 630 hp and ran 12. 40 @ 109mph. As far as when I dynoed 748hp,no times are available due to everytime I went to the track I broke something. 7500lbs. + 750hp = broken parts. As for my rail pressure,it never exceeds 22,000psi.

Thats piece of mind! Im not a big fan of pressure. Constant pressure at a safe level yes, but high pressure with big spikes no!

Also are you still running the stock sticks or have you already graduated to something bigger?

what broke on your truck? just wondering, I am watching this thread closely

thanks in advance

1. To answer the injector question,Chris @ Relentless Diesel had a set of 120hp injectors made for me to try out, they work pretty good.

2. To answer the rail pressure question,it has always been around 22,000psi,the only mod I have that affects rail pressure is my ez.

3. I run my ez on level 3,and I used to run the tst on level 5,now it looks like I might get to use level 8.

4. On the broken parts subject,in the last 2 weeks I have broken a flexplate and blew a head gasket. The head gasket is fixed, but I am waiting on a new converter and billet flexplate form dtt.

What kind of rail pressure gauge do you have on your truck RCCox? A max of 22,000psi seems a little low for a truck with an EZ on it, based on our testing.

Where are you getting that? Did you tap the center wire on the plug that connects to the rail? If you're reading from the stock plug or with a scan tool you're getting fooled values.

I would imagine that with an EZ you're getting close to 26k or above. JMO
