What kind of rail pressure gauge do you have on your truck RCCox? A max of 22,000psi seems a little low for a truck with an EZ on it, based on our testing.

your correct, stock pressure is higher than that, up to 26700psi stock!!!! that seems really low

My post about the 22,000psi was not accurate,I forget when we read rail pressure that the ez fools the number on a scanner. The truck without the ez maintains around 26,000psi.

cool, thats what my stage 2 maintains as well Oo. have you seen any spikes in the rail pressure? if so then how high :D

There are not any spikes on acceleration, there is a spike right after to lift from the accelerator, but a stock pump spikes there(I have it seen spike to 28,000psi and thats the highest I have seen it.

My trucks ecm would call for 26,000 psi at wot and would get 26,700 psi with the pressure box off. When I would turn the pressure box on it would show less rail pressure for a instant and then what ever the ecm called for. 26,700 psi is all the drb would read with the pressure box on but the rail pressure has to be some what higher. The drb won't show pressure spikes and the pressure box is telling the drb a lie.

I've got pretty much the same setup you got except the twins and was wondering what kind of difference the twins make. So what kind of horsepower you got without the nitrous?

thats as high as the drb will read,28,000. thats why i was talking about 30,000psi with some of our pump spikes---we accually have a rail pressure guage that reads up to 40,000 or so, it cost big bucks, so in a sence you really dont know exactly what its doing? its really doing the same thing that our pumps are doing for pressure?---just a different way. :D

RC:

As much as I like the idea of turbo in a bottle - I too would like to know the HP at wheels with #2 only...

Not because I think Nitrous is cheating, Just because the majority of the members here do not have nitrous and it would be good to gauge apples to apples.

I remember the white megacab at relentless did like 621hp, right? (on diesel only)

So with the sticks you have, you should be all over that number Oo.

I look forward to your results...

How are you all reading rail pressures of up to 28,000psi with the stock pressure sensor? The stock sensor is not any good past 26,700-27,000psi.

I realize Floor-It Diesel has a custom setup that will apparently read up to 40K

Thanks RC it does help some of us out to be able to show what combinations others have when we aren't quite ready to step up to the bottle yet.

the DRB will read up to 28,000, its no good at that point like you said, by the way how is my project coming along? Oo.

If they're building you a pressure box to go with that cp3 mod, you're gonna love it!!!!! Oo. Oo. Oo. :--)
