Are Modern Truck Buyers Asking for Too Much Luxury?

WIF light?

Alright i have a buddy thats looking to buy here pretty soon and he's lookin at all 3 makes and he doesn't know if he wants to play and pay or play it safe... .

If he does to any mods they would be light mods(chip or box, exhaust, intake)

So what we are wanting to know is just your opinions on which of the big 3 you would buy and why... . This topic/poll is not intended for any wars to be started, just a honest opinion... ...

I know this is dodge forum so most of you on here obviously have dodge's, but all opinions are welcome..... THANKS

Sorry about that. I just found your poll today. I just don't see how any engine with 30% more moving parts, stock or modified, is going to outlast an I6 design. It doesn't matter to me what brand it's in. I also believe that overall reliability goes far beyond just the engine/drivetrain.

I voted Dodge / Cummins semi modded under the assumption that it was only gauges and maybe a small mod ~50HP. I don't think I've heart my durability with 400hp much but there have to be some trade offs at this level :D
