Just replaced my lift pump, got to thinking (oh boy! ) about relocating it closer to the tank. Has anybody done this? Is it worth it? Does it make a difference? What special fittings are needed and where do you get them? I know aftermarket pumps are close to the tank, but I cant afford one.

Relocating LP, Replacing fuel lines and fittings to 3\8"

TGEE:

I received some fittings from a fella named Eric. His fittings work great & he also fabricates a LP relocation bracket. He's really reasonable with pricing. I installed them at the same time I replaced my LP & fuel pressures are great & I can hardly pull my pressures down. His email is the following. -- email address removed -- . If you try his fittings you won't be disappointed. I was going to relocate mine yesterday but installed new injectors instead. Next weekend I plan on relocating my LP.

Shoot Eric an email if your interested in higher pressures & not being able to suck your fuel lines flat like a straw with low pressures. No affiliation with Eric just happy with the results I've received.
