I agree with Hammer. The old blow-by tubes defintley have moisture as well as oil mist in them. Don't see why anyone would want to run any amount of moisture throught the turbo. On my 01. 5 I eliminated the bottle and ran a 3/4 inch hose down about 2 inches past the tie rod. No problems no drips very easy to do. However some of the other solutions sound valid but just not through the turbo we spend mucho $$$$$$ on gauges and other things to protect them.

on my harley, i just ran the hose back under the frame and put a closed end filter on it. about once a year, i remove the filter and clean it. and, yes, it occasionally drips some oil. you all know all the stories about harleys marking their spots...

any way i'll probably try that on my ram--just haven't gotten around to it... ... ... .
