For christmas, i finally got my isspro egt and boost gauge to go with my isspro fuel gauge! No more glowshift! Yay.
My question though,
Is that when I ordered my isspro fp gauge, it didnt come w a tapped banjo bolt although when PO put glowshift fp guage on, a tapped banjo bolt was installed and sender was threaded into it. I just threaded my isspro sender in and installed new fp gauge.
Only problem is that PO installed tapped banjo bolt in at back of fuel filter. Which means I'm measuring fp between lp and fuel filter. Instead of between ff and ip where I'm reading that most folks install it. Should I change location? If so, I'd have to swap the banjo bolts too since I don't have original bb that goes between ff and lp.
Just didn't know if both banjo bolts are same both at bottom and back of ff on stock truck.
Hope this all makes sense.

wood, I have read also that that is where you should read the fp, I don't know if it is the same size banjo bolt, but I also have read countless posts about electric fp sending units failing because of the vibration I have replaced 2 sending units and when I was convinced one should use a snubber hose between the banjo bolt and the guage with a restrictor orifice, I use a 12" grease gun hose with a .015"orifice, you could probably use an even smaller hole/orifice but that was the smallest bit I had that day and my sending unit is wrapped in foam and ty-wrapped to another hose under the hood hopefully vibration isolated somewhat!!

Thanks. I did relocate it to bottom of ff housing. I had to put an elbow on the tapped banjo bolt to get snubber and sender to fit.
I was able to interchange banjo bolt.
It builds pressure a littl differently now but seems to work fine.
Glad everything including egt probe is where it should be now.
Thanks
