Since I am building air ride, I was thinking of relocation my shocks to the outside of the frame, or inside, but right on the frame, not set inboard like stock.

Also, should I mount them upright vertically, instead of at an angle like stock?

I will have NO axle wrap, if that matters.

I will have to make the brackets, but I am already building 4-corner air bag mounts and 4-link, what's a little more fabbing for shock brackets?

i belive that shocks on a angle are supposed to help with the ride and also with axle travel, but on the other side of that kelderman puts thiers on the outside upright, so i would say whatever is easiest and works with your setup. with air, ride souldnt be bad anyway you look at it. any pics? doin the same to mine later this summer.

No pics yet, sorry! I have been meaning to but I am a procrastinator! I will actually take some tomorrow since I am going to my parent's house. My girlfriend's and my camera is missing the card deal that plugs into the laptop to download, so I will use my dad's cam.

I have both rear 4-link mounts 50% done, one rear airbag mount 90% done, the panhard 50% done, and am working on the fronts now, measuring and cutting.

I will try to get pics up this weekend or so!

As for the shocks, that's what I was thinking too. Hey, if it doesn't work I can always move them again!

I just have to make sure I get the right length shocks. The fronts will be the same as stock, plus the lift built in, but located externally of the coil, since the coil will be a bag. I am going to probably fab and mount shock towers and brackets for dual fronts, and run one shock, with the extra mount available if I want to try two.

Thanks!
