humm.....

I don't know of any local shops that specialize in ATV Salvage items. You may want to get the yellow pages and start calling a few shops and ask them for referrals to salvage places that they know about.

I found a dealer last year through ebay. I was searching for ATV Parts and found a seller that had one of those "see my other auctions" deals. His ebay account is called OFF-ROADSALVAGE. Try contacting him through ebay and see what he has.

Good luck.

Corey, If the testing you are looking for is on a gasser, I would go and see Chips Car Care in Clearfield. Talk to Chip himself and tell him Dee Rawson sent you and he fix you up.

If it's your CTD you need inspected the only place that does them is the county I/M station in Kaysville.

If you need any more help give me a call on my Cele phone at 540-3720.

hey does your truck have a muffler?? mine doesn't and they would not pass it because of no muffler. They claimed they would not pass me on my saftey inspection. I don't see how this could afffect my vehicle's saftey LOL. they claimed that UHP has been telling them not to pass diesel's without mufflers (this should only apply to PSD's LOL talk about a terrible sound a psd straight piped) anyways i don't want a friken muffler on my truck so i took it to another shop who doesn't do diesel emissions and they passed me with no prob. another funny thing is when i asked the shop how i did on the emissions test and the tech told me that the only way a diesel would fail would be if it isn't even capable of running LOL.

well I think I may have found a way to beat the system (sorta) I had to get the inspection so I could get my base sticker. But, I'm going to keep my out of state plates & D/L. If I end up getting pulled over, I've prepared my answer...

"Well officer, I'm just visiting ;)"

My question for you guys is this, what happens if I get busted with out this inspection?

Corey

WHEN ARE WE GOING WHEELING!!!!!!?????????!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!Oo.

Yeah out of state is by far the best way to go. Everytime i get my truck registered i swear i am gonna do it next time in texas becuse that is where i moved from a lot less hassels there. The registration fees are getting rediculous here they consistantly go up plus i run into problems with the 5% tint on my windows. you may have trouble however if you have to get your drivers licence changed over for ID purposes such as writing checks etc.

As far as writing checks, we only our checks for bills, and normally everybody will accecpt the debit cards now anyway.

That shouldn't be a big problem, but thanks for the thought.

Corey

As long as you are on active duty you are totally legal keeping your home state plates... ... ... no lying to the cops required. It is called the soldier and sailer relief act. My son is stationed at Hill and he recently bought a new car there and titled it in Tx. I'll be up there in about a week. Stop by the fam camp and I'll buy the beer. Blue and white 5er, white and driftwood duelly. Both have Or plates. (my home state).

I told the wife that you would be coming up here, and staying, so I may swing by and say hello. I don't drink, but we can still talk trucks!

Look at that! He's still got a TX cell phone number!

Duane

Missouri City, TX 281 area code

The reason for the cell number from texas is:

I got the cell when I was in school earlier this year, I opted to keep the number in texas because I would have had to re-sign with Suncom to get a local number in NC. I also kept the number the texas number so all of our friends could get ahold of us and with my wife trying to find a job & us a house, its pretty important we have a number we can be reached at all the time. But don't worry, I'll be changing it asap! We are almost closed on the house, and I'll get it changed then.

Corey

Corey,

When you get settled in your new house (new to you??) should have a get together and have a day of it. bomb party, picknick, whatever... :D

I am going to the MM 02 are you going? I am going to go there the back way with a rental trailer and tour death valley and see a couple of sights then go to Pahrump, NV for the show.

Glad you are almost in a house,

Let us know of the local 3 when you get it. .

Eric

I'm not sure what MM 02 is, but as far as the cook out/get together that sounds like a good deal!

This weekend I'm planning on making a run to Moab to go fourwheeling this weekend.

If anybody is interested, let me know.

Corey

Wow!

That looks like a lot of fun, the only down fall (for me) is the weekend. Thats just after when we are planning on closing on our house and we will be awlful busy at that time, working on house issues.

Sorry, but it doesn't look like this year...

Street Night at Rocky Mt. Raceway !!

Rocky Mountain Raceway - Street Legal Nights

This just in ...

A friend of mine (who works Security at Rocky Mountain Raceway) just told me that the track has been given approval by West Valley City to hold four (4) "trial" Street Legal nights - open to the public. If all goes well (ie no drugs, bad fights, etc) they hope to get approval for more dates. The idea is to take the "fast and furious" racers and wannabe racers OFF THE STREET and let them pair up on an NHRA approved track - with lights, read-outs, etc.

Dates: Tonight May, 17th, May 31, June 21 and 28

Time: 11:00 pm to 2:00 am

Cost: $10

Track: Quarter Mile - first 2 runs are for ET and then eliminations begin.

Vehicles: Bracketed

Trophies: Oh, yeah!

A legal opportunity to run WOT sounds like a done deal to me. I'll make the drive and call it a night out. I wish it was earlier in the evening and I'd take my kids and let them see "Daddy" let his hair down.

Not certain if Helmet and Fire Extinguisher are required - bring them just in case.

The last 2 days are not long after the DYNO DAY in Ogden... get the picture. Good opportunity to get your rig Dyno'd and ET'd within a week of each other.

This beats getting caught (and ticketed) doing my informal 1/4 miles (on my lunch breaks) on 10th West from "this fence post to the back side of that hay stack... "

FYI: RMR has a web site at www.rmrracing.com for those interested in more info. Address is 21st South 6500 West in SLC.

I'll try and get down on the 31st or 21st.

Yeehaw! :D
