Remote entry/start concerns

Gentlemen,
It's been a long time since I visited the site. I had an 04 Cummins that I sold about a year and a half ago,280,000 carefree miles. Now I have 14 eco. 102,000 trouble free miles. Question is; my remote doesn't seem to want to activate the remote start. Battery has been changed. Any thoughts?

Certain requirements have to be met prior to remote start working. Does your truck have a check engine light on?

One or two honks of the horn when you attempted to remote start it? If one there is something keeping it from starting. The dealer can see the inhibits with the scan tool.

No lights on, no horn honks either

Yes but not from any distance.
