Comp sub-level question

ARP vs ARP2000 vs Haisley Studs?

just wondering where to get one. is amsoil my only option? i tried napa, they didn't have one big enough. any hints? thanks

dave

Sure looks like that will be awful low, hope ya don't go 4 wheeling with that. How they gonna hook the rpm sensor up when you dyno? Looks like the filter will be in the way.

plus, i can get an amsoil dual set-up for less. i guess that's what i'll do. thanks for the info though. i do appreciate it.

Do not go dual. Go simgle. Here are the problems that some others have had with the dual remote system:

1. Lower oil pressure

2. loud whining noise sometimes on some installs

3. The adapter that fits in place of the full flow filter has been known to leak

4. Takes up too much room!!

The single remote bypass kits works better. Been there done that!! part number BMK-11 I believe.

cool. thanks for the heads up. i not looking for a bypass system though. i need to relocate the oil filter. it's going to be easier than rebuilding my twin setup. i was thinking that if i have to do it, i might as well go big. but after what you said, i'll just get a single. thanks again.

does look low doesn't it, we get that alot from people who haven't seen one before. Go four wheeling all you want its not in the way, not even close. The dyno question is one I have never had come up. I can't speak to all dynos, but I have never had a problem dynoing and out of the hundreds of these kits we have sold no one has ever told me they had a problem. Remember this kit is made specifically for the Dodge Cummins, it is not a universal kit. Everything bolts up out of the way, no fabricating hoses and trying to figure out where to mount it. It also uses the stock oil filter so you get a filter at any parts store. if price is your main concern I can get you a nonbillet filter kit for about half of the cost. you will have to assemble the hose and figure out where and how to mount it. Hope this helps
