Just wanted to pass on some information. I run a dual oil filter mount setup on my truck. It's an older Amsoil bypass dual filter setup that I have mounted under passenger floor board on the frame with hydraulic hoses. I'm running dual LF16035's on it. One is full flow and other 10 - 20% flow rate. The adapter that I first used was from Prema-Cool. Wasn't that happy with it, but it will work and had been on the truck 4 years.
Had been looking at the Amsoil BK300-AE. Things changed when a buddy was working on a project that used the same filter thread on out trucks. With this happening, I mentioned about the Amsoil or the Prema-Cool setups. He didn't care which one. I got the Amsoil one on order from another member on TDR. Once I opened the box, started getting fittings to work on my truck.
Just got it switched over the other day when doing my annual maintenance. What a nice fit! Little tight with side return fitting, but was very doable! So if thinking of doing a remote oil filter or even a dual bypass setup, this adapter works great. Fittings directly connected to adapter are SAE o-ring fittings in -8 size (1/2").
