I had a viper alarm installed the other day with the remote start feature and ever since, if i run the TST box I get cam/crank sensor codes. I called TST and they said that the problem was the alarm was lowering the amperage to much for the TST to receive a good signal. They said the only way to fix this was removing the remote start feature. Does anybody have an idea of how to fix this without removing the remote start system?

Had the same type of problem with an AstroStart. The security portion was disabling much of the electronics to prevent theft. They disabled this portion of the alarm and all was well again. I will assume the Viper can be changed as well.

Or you should be able to manually lock the doors on the door pannel (so the security alarm is not on). Then your starter/TST should work fine.

Again I dont know anything about the Viper.

CIverson, what kind of remote start do you have? I'm going to try disconnecting the wire which is tapped into the sensor and see what happens.

they may not have hooked all your ignition wires and acc wires or one may be crossed under the dash. Take it back to them and have them check the wires to the ignition harness. A bad solder joint or horriblr scotch lock crimp can and will effect a vehicles codes when key is not in the cylinder.
